Regional Training Conference
Regional Training ConferenceMuch like the IALEFI Annual Training Conference (ATC), the Regional Training Conference (RTC) is a two to three day firearms instructor training event hosted by a local law enforcement agency or private range. Topics are often dictated by the host or local law enforcement needs but, always are topical, relevant, and dependent to any law enforcement, military, and private sector firearms instructors. Any IALEFI member may attend if openings are available, unless the training is law enforcement restricted. Topics cover a variety firearm instructor disciplines including dynamic live fire range exercises for handguns, shotguns, rifle tactics and armorers or DT classes, if requested. Experts from within the IALEFI training cadre from across the international law enforcement training community are invited to introduce and expand your knowledge in current firearm tactical skills. These trainers encourage you to adapt their information to in-service training for your department.
An RTC affords you the opportunity to attend local training by expert trainers without the cost of long distant travel and time. It is also a chance to interact and exchange training knowledge and ideas with trainers within your own community. To attend a RTC check the
IALEFI calendar. If you want to host a RTC contact the IALEFI office.
