Psychology of Presence:  "Just because you are present, doesn't mean you project presence."
Tony Blauer - Blauer Tactical Systems
Course Description: When an opponent makes his choice to engage an officer, that choice is often inspired by the officers tactical presence.  In firearms training, the first strategic error in most modern firearms programs, is an over-emphasis on shooting skills without a counter-balance of training the emotional and psychological arsenal as well.  This program incorporates a three dimensional approach to firearms training 452 out of 601 officers killed from 1991 to 2000 were killed with handguns.

Nearly 10% of officers during the same period were killed with their own weapons.  70% of those officers killed were killed at a distance of 10 feet or less.

This is an advanced "end user" or instructor development course that teaches Spear System applications at extreme close quarters where firearms are engaged.

Instructor:  Tony Blauer is CEO and Chief Instructor for Blauer Tactical Confrontation Management Systems.  With over 20 years teaching experience, Blauer is highly sought out by progressive trainers interested in advanced scenario work and close quarters tactics.  His team has had the privilege and honor of consulting for the elite elements within the Federal Government like the US Navy Seals, US Army Special Forces, Federal Air Marshals and the FBI.

Student requirements: Physical training attire such as overalls, sweats, red gun and support leather gear, body armor and athletic cup.
