Extreme Fighting Pistol
Win the pistol fight from CQB through sniper.  The fight for your life may be bone crushing, and blood spattering, but you have to want to be in it to win.  You have to have the mind set, attitude and skills to win with a vengeance.

Hoffners system of pistol will ultimately make you a fast, safe, and a more effective pistol operator with progressive techniques designed to improve your presentation speed, accuracy and fight tenacity.  Learn the advantages of  Brian's SAT Scale of Sight and Trigger Manipulation.  Utilize SoSu technique and active scanning to operate properly through "Fight Engagement Loop" utilizing the pistol with confidence.  This intensive system will improve your skills and is a must for the armed professional.

Instructor - Brian Hoffner - With over 30 years of military and law enforcement experience, Brian, a Texas Master Peace Officer, is a senior firearms instructor, and defensive tactics instructor for Houston Police Department.  With Hoffners Training Academy, Brian brings his dynamic training program to law enforcement, military, corporations, and enthusiasts on a national and international level.  Known and respected as a leader in his field, Brian's unique style of motivating his students while progressively teaching empty hands, knife, pistol, shotgun, rifle & tactics have made him a trusted favorite throughout the country.  Brian is know for his innovative ideas and high level of intensity while training.  His ability to relay his knowledge, utilize his wide range of skills as a motivator, and bring out the best in his students, ensure a positive learning experience for all.

This is an eight hour course and this class is physically demanding and all students must be capable of participating in all drills.

Students need to bring: wraparound eye protection, ear protection, duty weapon and minimum of 500 rounds, duty holster, gun belt and at least three magazines or speed loaders.

Combat Tactics in Extreme Close Quarter Environments (P.D.T.)

Participants will engage in close quarter tactics suitable for enhancing their professional and personal degree of skill and ability both psychologically and physically for managing aggressive, violent behavior under stress with greater resolve.

Instructor - Sgt. Michael Lazarus, Sr., of Trinidad & Tobago is a 25 year veteran of law enforcement and the military.  He is the former lead instructor of the Trinidad & Tobago police service.  He has trained in martial arts for 42 years and holds a degree in the Russian Martial Art of SYSTEMA.  He is a member of IALEFI, NRA, IACSP and is a FLETC graduate in firearms and terrorism prevention.

Students need to bring: Mouth guard, elbow, knee, and shin pads (light body armor optional).  Duty belt, holster, dummy training pistol, training knife and ASP baton.

·         Participants are asked to report to the Suffolk County Police Range located at 110 Old Country Rd, Westhampton NY (631)-852-8063 at 0730 on August 25th for final check-in.

·         All range activities require a hat, wrap around eye protection and ear protection. The use of soft body armor during training is recommended.

·         All participants who have not already done so will be required to participate in a brief IALEFI® safety check prior to any range activity.  
Eligibility: Attendees must be a member of IALEFI® or a certified law enforcement officer. THIS CONFERENCE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 40 people who send in their registration and conference fee or purchase orders etc. IALEFI® will invoice your Department and/or agency if so requested.
Cost: Member              $150.00   
Non-member       $205.00   

Note:   Non-member conference fee includes one year of Associate Membership to IALEFI® (Full membership with approved credentials).
